  I was not sure what to expect initially but after the opening statement I sat up and paid closer attention as it was immediately relevant to our business. Not only did Ruth give her perspective of Interflora members as a customer a refreshing insight for conference but also gave very relevant pointers to how she was led to increase her purchase and how we could all increase our sales but going the extra mile for the customer something that is unique to our skilled industry. The whole presentation was extremely relevant and Ruth was obviously speaking from experience and the heart, sometimes witty and constantly kept my attention I did not want to miss a word!

  Ruth was our closing speaker at the Institute of Credit Management Summer Conference at the Rosebowl, Southampton. The speech was entitled ‘Making a Difference’. For an hour Ruth had the audience in the palm of her hand from senior managers to junior credit controllers she gave us a brilliant insight into how faced with tough decisions, commitment, enthusiasm and willingness to learn can enable anyone to make a difference in the workplace. Overall Ruth enabled the day to end on a ‘high’ – as well as a motivating presentation she was freely available to answer questions and stayed on the chat to delegates.

  Ruth’s key note speech at our Franchising Fair in Sheffield hit all the right notes it was balanced, informative and inspirational. Speaking about her own business experiences and her motivation for entering the hit TV show The Apprentice Ruth’s direct approach was both refreshing and engaging. Feedback from delegates on the day was overwhelmingly positive. As well as her key note speech, Ruth also took part in press interviews, photography, and met with exhibitors and delegates alike, her contribution to the event really enhanced our offering to the general public.
